I've been publishing websites for clients twenty-three years now, and a common client concern is they want their website ranking in the top position of organic search results. What are organic search results? They are the natural results opposed to un-natural pay-per-click results. My personal experience has been clicking non-organic links take me to a website not related to what I'm searching for, so I usually start at the top of the helpful organic results. That is usually below the links that say advertisement, and sometimes so many ads display, I must scroll down to see the organic results. Because most users avoid non-organic search results, it is in your best interest to learn search engine optimization. Design your websites using SEO, and keep current with the changing algorithms.
